I find people to be sexy when they don't even know it, when there's no arrogance about it ... and that's Ted. He's so professional, he's smart and he's kind. He has a goofy side that a lot of people may not know about, and I find that very sexy. -- Tamara Braun (SOD 2003)

Once again I know I’m late to the game. Been very tired this week and with a lot of errands to run. Also with Ted being on every day, it’s been a little difficult to keep up. But the stuff is here. I will make a comment below on Ted’s scenes this weekI also have an addition to the press section, which I’m hoping this weekend to get a little bit more caught up. I have a ton to add and no time to do it. The other reason these were so late, for the past week the station I watch the show on at two in the afternoon, kept putting up storm warnings over the show. At one point right over Ted’s face. I had to re-record two programs this week later at four due to this.
Hasn’t Ted been amazing this week? I’m sad the white shirt is gone. But I’m loving Ted as Tomas. I’m hoping he isn’t the one responsible for offing Marty (Susan Haskell). That would so offend me. I’m sick of seeing women being written as nutjobs who when they go off their nuts, they kidnap babies. Sparks of unoriginal writing. There were other ways to usher Marty off the canvas short of having her become unhinged. I know this was supposed to be a post about Ted, but I digressed. My woman power wanted a voice. Now back to the truly superficial. Dammit to Todd (Trevor St. John) for calling Tomas before he had the chance to seal the deal with Blair (Kassie DePaiva). Damn him to hell. I wanted another Ted shirtless scene and to see him have full out animal sex. We haven’t been treated to that since, if I recall correctly, his steamy scenes on GENERAL HOSPITAL with Tamara Braun as Lorenzo and Carly.
Just to add, I’ve been reading on various soap message boards Ted may be on his way out early. I’ve mostly been reading this on Soap Central‘s OLTL board and reiterrated on the ABC.GO board for the show. I’m not sure how accurate these rumors are, but nothing would surprise me at this point. Now I want to repeat this is just a rumor, not fact.
Here is the media for Ted’s episode for today. Just a little update on the ONE LIFE TO LIVE situation. Apparently on the heels of Hoover’s decision to pull of its adds off of ABC programming, Hershey, General Mills, Huggies, Novartis (makers of Excederine) and Target have all decided to begin taking calls from fans regarding the situation. Interesting that Hoover has more or less led the charge against ABC Daytime, but more specifically head of Daytime Brian Frons. If anyone would like I can provide the contact information here. Let me know if you’d like to write (email – snailmail) or call and I’ll get those together.
Loved Ted’s scene with Florencia Lozano (Téa) and Blair (Kassie DePaiva), particularly Tomas’ reaction to Téa’s tempation with the plate of food. And we learned that Tomas is hiding something due to a classified record. Mmmmmm, intriguing.
I’m loving Ted’s story so far. I hope you are. He’s fit so nicely in with his two leading ladies Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) and Florencia Lozano (Téa Manning). Ted and Florencia have such a great sibling connection. I sometimes wish he were paired with her, but the sibling thing is perfectly okay too. Here is today’s media.
Two new additions to the press section. One is an article with Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) telling us all the buzz on the upcoming storyline featuring Ted’s character and some interesting information on his future. The other is with Ted, himself, telling us more about the creation of the part along with what it took to move his household as well as Maya and the newborn Ava Celeste cross-country to New York. Enjoy.
I found a preview for some upcoming scenes with Ted and Kassie as Tomas and Blair. It’s from ABC.GO on the ONE LIFE TO LIVE official site. Enjoy. Ted looks yummy.

That “squeeeeeeee” you hear is me! Finally we get a good view of Ted through a lighter set. That Paris studio did nothing for him. All I could say was, “Blair, for crying out loud. Let him in!” She finally did and the blue of the walls in Dorian’s living room just brought out the blue in Ted’s eyes. Swoooooooon. I’m still not liking the choppy way ONE LIFE TO LIVE is being done these days. While it takes THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS forever to tell a story, at least Stephen Nichols‘ scenes as Tucker McCall are longer than Ted’s and we get a little more grounding in terms of exposition. With the way OLTL is done, it leaves little for the viewer to actually sink their teeth into before they’re onto the next bit of action. My only suggestion to the powers that be at the show, settle down and tell a story. Don’t rush it. Allow the actors some time to breathe.
I usually like having these up on the day within about an hour or so of the airing, but I had some issues I had to deal with today. But here they finally are. Well, Tomas arrived in Llanview and may I say, he looks simply gorgeous. I love the glasses. Not sure if Ted actually needs them or if they’re part of the character. All I can say is they add a studious quality to Tomas. So far most of my favourite actors wear specs. Ted along with Mitch Pileggi and Stephen Nichols make them sexy as hell. Yep, think I’m gonna like Tomas…as long as he keep the glasses. Ted was in the preview for Monday’s episode and it is included in the clip.
Edited: I forgot to add this to the main post. As much as I’m sure that this pairing with Blair (Kassie DePaiva) will likely stir up the heat, I really do wish Tomas had been brought on for Kelly Cramer (Gina Tognoni). I really thought Gina would have been the better recast for Carly on GENERAL HOSPITAL when Tamara Braun left in 2005. Gina unfortunately was still under contract at GUIDING LIGHT as Dinah Marler. Instead we got Laura Wright who has totally digressed the character even further back than Sarah Brown’s version. If wishes were horses ….
EW magazine is apparently reporting and SoapCentral is confirming, that Ted has signed with the ABC soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE as an unnamed character to be involved with the character of Blair played by Kassie DePavia. Ted’s first airdate has been scheduled for January 21, 2011. My guess it’s so he and Maya and Ava can make the move to New York where OLTL is taped. This is very good news for Ted’s fans as we get him back on our screens. Keep an eye out here for more news as it’s reported. And don’t fear, I’ll be doing up Ted’s episodes for the site. Whew, between Ted and Stephen Nichols who’s currently playing uber-tycoon Tucker McCall on the soap opera THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, I’ll be one busy girl. Now if Tamara Braun decided to come back to daytime, I’d really be snookered.
