Blair’s connection to Tomas may be more than meest the eye!

As Todd’s life hands in teh balance this week on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Blair takes steps to find out what really happened to him. Will she discover that her ex’s assailaint is actually someone right under her nose?

On Guard

Unaware of Tomas’ connection to Téa and Todd, a protective Shaun tries to stop the mystery man from walking into the victim’s hospital room. Tomas gives Shaun a swift kick in the you-know-what, and we learn that the guy is a martial artist, too! Téa and Dani defuse the situation, letting Shaun know Tomas is afmaily. But the burly bodyguard hints that he believes there’s more to the guy’s story than he’s telling!

Warning Signs

Meanwhile, at Buenos Dias, Blair introduces Tomas to John, and the artist’s odd behaviour raises the top cop’s eyebrows. And after Blair tells her ex-lover about the heated exchanges between Todd and Tomas, as well as the fact that the mystery man had the old photo in his possession, John becomes even more perturbed.

“She’s being smart about it,” explains Kassie DePaiva (Blair), noting that unlike in times past (the woman’s romantic history is horrific!), she is paying attention to everything. “She goes to John and says, ‘I have a feeling, and I know the last time, you warned me against Eli, [and he] almost killed me. Maybe I should listen to you.’” Um, yeah!

Taking Chances

Later, Blair become troubled after she witnesses Tomas standing at Todd’s bedside. “She doesn’t want Todd in her life, but she doesn’t want him dead,” says DePaiva with a laugh. “She’s concerned about what’s going on and who did this.”

However, Tomas’ good looks and charm are starting to get the best of Blair. “She’s immensely attracted to him,” the actress adds. “She dan’t deny this chemistry with Tomas, but she has reason to question him.

John decides to dig into Tomas’ past, but if we know Blair, and we think we do, she won’t sit idly by while he conducts his investigation. Whether Tomas turns out to be yet another negative notch on Blair’s bedpost remains to be seen, but DePaiva says htat her alter ego is willing to do whatever is necessary to get to know him inside and out: “Blair is trying to find out as much as she can — good and bad. She’s got nothing to lose.”

Or does she? As Blair becomes more engrossed in Tomas’ world, will she discover that he’s not exactly a knight in shining armor? And, as in times past, is she playing what could be a deadly game of cat and mouse?
