Welcome to TED KING ONLINE a site dedicated to actor, writer, director, and activist Ted King. Best known for his dual roles as Lorenzo and Luis Alcazar on the ABC soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL, as well as Inspector Andy Trudeau on CW's CHARMED, and as Jack Logan on the short lived ABC television program TIME COP. Ted's other work includes playing Tomas Delgado on the soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and Danny Roberts in LOVING/THE CITY. Ted has several films to his credits including HOODLUM & SON, MY DINNER WITH HERVE, THE X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE. Ted made several guest starring roles in episodic television, those include PRISON BREAK, FRAISER, CSI, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, NCIS, ALPHA HOUSE...., and many more. This site has a strict NO CANDIDS POLICY. To read that please click the link.

Looks like PRISON BREAK is winding down to a thrilling finale. Everyone is in deep doo-doo. Christina and Downey have Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and Michael (Wentworth Miller) has to choose between saving Linc, or Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies.) and their baby. Momma is really amping up the tension, and to think I boned up for Friday’s episode by watching the delightful Kathleen Quinlan in the Ron Howard film APOLLO 13 where she played Marilyn Lovell, wife of astronaut Jim Lovell (played in the film by Tom Hanks.) It does appear there is only the two parter left to the series. Funny, because IMDB has two more episodes for June. One is called The Old Ball And Chain and Free, both to air on 02 June 2009. My apologies to Sarah for any ill feelings she might be feeling toward me, but I’m only going by what I read. IF these are to be the final episodes, not sure if Ted will be in them.

A word about images on this site. Though they don’t belong to me, I have tagged them as coming from this website. Why? I’ve noticed them being taken and others taking credit for my work. I don’t mind you taking them, however, all I ask is that you credit this site as the place where you got them. It takes up to one hour to screencap an average episode, and though it may not seem like much work, it is. Please don’t make me have to make the gallery private, or have to put some kind of a watermark over the image in such a way as it interferes with the enjoyment of them. I also have a way to block your IP so you won’t be able to view the site at all. Please don’t make me have to do this.

All I have for you right now are the screencaps from this last episode. I’ll have the clip up at THE PORTAL: TED KING MEDIA sometime later today (Saturday) or sometime Sunday. I’ll be taking my mother out for breakfast early Sunday morning as it’s Mother’s Day, and I won’t have time until later…that is if I don’t get it clipped up today. That’s just the heads up. I’ll edit this post with the clip.

I’ve gotten busy here. You’ll notice a new icon to the right of the posts. It’s the official Ted King Portal update icon. Neat uh? The other update is, I’ve clipped up Ted’s guest appearance on the hit NBC sitcom ninth season episode “The Guilt Trippers” where Ted played the part of Roz Doyle’s (Peri Gilpin) brother-in-law Craig. Ted’s so adorably geeky in this role. Looking kind of ‘Bou Scout’ish. I love the part where he’s trying to choose something from the hors d’œuvre tray to the back of Suzanne Cryer playing Roz’s sister, Denise. Then when he comes up to talk to Fraiser (Kelsey Grammer), he’s all geek… in an adorable way. I screencapped up Ted’s scenes some time ago but I’m going to include the album here and some caps so you can see for yourself how, you guessed it, adorably geeky he is. The first image in the screencaps is the hors d’œuvre tray scene.

So sorry I didn’t get this up on Friday night. I had the episode recorded off of television, but with the last week being hectic, I just fell asleep before I could get it all screencapped and clipped. I also was having trouble with THE PORTAL MEDIA site. My host moved servers and when moving all my files from OBSCURE MEDIA, my TAMARA BRAUN media site and this one, some glitches occurred that I had to go in and fix before I could get up the new clips. Also, I purchased a new skin for the THE PORTAL MEDIA site and wanted to get it installed. You have to back up your files before installation so that took a little longer than I had anticipated.

About Downey in S.O.B.. Our guy was an active little boy this time out. So much so that it took some time to get the best screencaps due to his activity. I loved this episode so much. Downey really played a part in Christina’s plans and I think to a certain degree, she really respects him. Certainly he’s shown his loyalty to her. This bodes very well for our guy. Though I’m still getting this feeling he’s going to get himself killed. Something tells me it’s going to be Lincoln who does the offing. Damn shame really. But at least it’s someone else other than Sonny Corinthos and or his goon, Jason Morgan. That I just couldn’t have condoned. But still, I think Downey might be worthy of a spin-off, don’t you think?

I’m also in the process of getting Ted’s CHARMED episodes screencapped and clipped up. Please be patient. This will take some time.

Well, my on demand service finally put up last Friday’s episode. Not much of our guy except to look hot as momma’s lackey. Doesn’t matter, at least he’s being seen in a high profile show. I’m hoping that some network or cable show sees him and picks him up. Ted’s not like some catalogue model who made it good with his looks. He’s worked to get to where he is, and it would be any show’s gain to have Ted.

Just to let you know, I’ve updated the sidebar section of Ted’s current projects to include the final episodes and airdates for Downey. He’s not in the series finale so my bet is that Downey gets killed. He’s got that vibe of the red-shirted security guard from the classic Star Trek series who would beam down to the planet with Captain Kirk and get promptly dispatched by a phaser or other means. I don’t know why, but that’s the feeling I’m getting.

  • [ 127 ] SCREENCAPS DOWNEY: “PRISON BREAK: E4X18 VS”

So sorry the screencaps from PRISON BREAK aren’t up. I had a family problem to deal with yesterday and completely forgot to record it onto my PVR. Fortunately here in Canada we have On Demand (I’m with Rogers) so I’ll be able to get it when they put it up. Usually it’s the first of the week, namely Monday after the episode has aired. I’ll be able to get it commercial free and clear as a bell.

Once again, my apologies. Stay tuned though for when I do post them.

I just wanted to let you know, I’m going to be doing some major housecleaning on the gallery to better orgainize the various sections. If you see something hinky going on, don’t worry. It’s only me toiling away at the wee small hours of the morning.
