Welcome to TED KING ONLINE a site dedicated to actor, writer, director, and activist Ted King. Best known for his dual roles as Lorenzo and Luis Alcazar on the ABC soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL, as well as Inspector Andy Trudeau on CW's CHARMED, and as Jack Logan on the short lived ABC television program TIME COP. Ted's other work includes playing Tomas Delgado on the soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and Danny Roberts in LOVING/THE CITY. Ted has several films to his credits including HOODLUM & SON, MY DINNER WITH HERVE, THE X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE. Ted made several guest starring roles in episodic television, those include PRISON BREAK, FRAISER, CSI, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, NCIS, ALPHA HOUSE...., and many more. This site has a strict NO CANDIDS POLICY. To read that please click the link.

As you can see we are back. I’m sorry for having been offline for so long but it couldn’t be helped. I’m having some difficulties paying for my domains and web space. I’m only going to ask if you want to contribute to keeping us online, please feel free to hit the donate button located in the sidebar at the bottom of the page.

I just wanted to give you the heads up to let you know that THE TED KING PORTAL will be going dark as of next week or seven days if you’re counting. The reason is that our domain is expiring in that time and right now I don’t have the money to renew it. It will likely be dark until the end of November unless I get some donations to keep it online. I’m sorry to have this happen but my mother died in May and I’ve had a ton of issues come up regarding her final expenses that just haven’t come to an end. So if you’d like to donate, please feel free to click on the donate link in the bottom of the sidebar. If not, then we’ll likely see you in a month.

I want to take this time to wish Ted the happiest of birthdays. He turns 49 today, one year away from that big half century…of which I have already passed. I hope he has a great day with Maya, Ava and Vivienne. With all my hopes for 49 more. Happy day Ted.

Sorry for the lack of updates but Ted hasn’t been working a lot, but THE PORTAL will continue to be active and updated as the nature presents. So with that in mind, I have some event images for you. The event was from back in 1996 when Ted attended the 23rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Here he is with actor George Pelemo backstage in the press room. Enjoy this blast from the past. Oh a note for you. I’m not sure if any of you are aware that Ted’s GENERAL HOSPITAL co-stars Tamara Braun (ex-Carly Corinthos) and Stephen Nichols have returned to the soap Days of our Lives. Stephen as his iconic one-eyed Patchman Steve Johnson, and Tamara in her Emmy Award Winning role as mobstress Ava Vitali. If you would like to follow their episodes, please feel free to click on the linked sites in this post.

I have one still for you from Ted’s upcoming NCIS episode. Sorry it’s not an up close one or that we can at least see his face.

  • [001] STILLS: NCIS – E12X21 LOST IN TRANSLATION

Special thanks to Kat for this alert. Ted will be on an episode of the procedural NCIS this coming Tuesday. Not sure what his character is, and I’ve tried looking for any press release but to no avail. I’m sure we’ll all look forward to seeing him though. Been a bit of a drought. More Ted is a good thing.

Edited: After some exploration on the interwebs, I was able to find the preview. Ted is in it, it’s just a case of if you blink you’ll miss him. He shakes hands with Bishop’s character and you only see the back of his head. He’s playing what looks to be an Army Ranger in Afghanistan.

NCIS: ‘Lost in Translation’ — Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) travel to Afghanistan after the murder of a Marine in D.C. is linked to a terror group holding another Marine hostage overseas, on the CBS Television Network.
